It includes the ceramic head and 4 paws of a brown bear and the genuine mink to make the body. It is a project I have kept around for over 25 years. I always thought I would get around to making it. But the truth is I probably wont, so it is time to pass it along to another energetic crafter or teddy bear lover. It will definitely be one of a kind when finished and I imaging quite stunning.      The head of the teddy bear measures approx 4” tall, 5” wide and 3” deep. The front paws measure approx 3 ½” x 1 ½” and 1” deep. The hind paws measure approx 3 ½” tall, nearly 2” wide and 2” deep. Each has a metal loop at the end to fasten together securing them within the bear. This set is artist signed on the bottom of one of the hind paws. I believe it reads “Madeline”. Possibly California pottery by Madeline Originals? These come with a gorgeous red mink stole I had collected for the project. There is more than enough to make a proper size bear.      The mink is fairly good size and there is more than enough to make the bear. It measures approx 1 7/8 yards long and at least 30” wide. There is not only the red mink, it also includes the lining and interior fabric of the stole. All are in good condition too I might add.      I dont know exactly how old these are, but I have had them since the 1970's and they were old then. They were given to me by my mother who is now 85. This actually turns out to be cheaper because boxes & pickup are free with Priority shipping.
