Complete set of Knickerbocker's 1937 "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs". They are all composition, individual character faces with original bright colored velvet costumes and caps. Names are: Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy, Doc, Sleepy, Bashful and Happy. There are five (5) boxes, Snow White and Bashful and Grumpy and two with no identification. The four dwarf boxes are fragile and missing ends of the boxes and tabs. Snow White's box is very good. Snow White and four (4) of the dwarfs have their original hang tags. Composition is mint with a matte finish, no crazing and original bright facial coloring. No repaint on any of the dolls. Clothing has never been removed and have original staples. SNOW WHITE:  13 in. tall. Mint with box, original hang tag, original clothes, under wear, shoes and socks. Never played with. Molded black hair and blue ribbon. Composition jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Marked "Knickerbocker Doll & Toy Co. on back of head. Nice matte finish on composition. No crazing. Box retains its original label. Very good condition with just a few tears. Mint condition SNEEZY: 9 in. tall. All composition jointed at the shoulders only. Retains original hang tag. Bright colored costume and cap. DOPEY: 9 in. tall. All composition jointed at the shoulders only. This little fellow has been played with. His clothes have faded and his face is dirty. There is a small crack running down his right wrist around the thumb and forefinger. No room to show a photo but I will be happy to email it to you. It does not detract from the doll. He still is darling. This complete set is quite incredible. There is no crazing on any of the dolls and retain their original matte finish. I never knew their clothes were so bright and vibrant.
