Her wig is made of human hair that is semi hand-knotted.  This head is a double head usage, with upper arm joints, making her very poseable.  She is part of the Atlantis 2006 collection.  There is no gold painting 0n her face. The picture of her below is in her box in my home.  I have not removed her at all.  Just opened the bubble wrap so I could take pictures.
