He is from the 1950's. He measures 19 inches tall, is fully 5-way jointed,  glass eyes, original paws and soles with cardboard soles and is made from a fine cotton similar to mohair. I would have thought it was mohair, but am only relaying the information I received when I purchased him from a gentleman in Germany years ago. He has an inset snout that is a shorter fur and is stuffed with wood carvings. He does have a growler, but it is not functional. He is in very good condition and can stand freely. Those flat feet are just adorable and are the reason I purchased him. He has the greatest expression and is hard to part with. This is just a wonderful old, vintage bear and the proceeds from him will benefit Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. This is a wonderful rescue organization and they are besieged with veterinary expenses currently and we are trying to raise $500 to donate to them. That being said, Wilber has no odors, but I must disclose that I own 2 Golden Retrievers, but they have never been around any of my bears.
