I made sure that her coloring was completely even and every inch of her was colored. She has a soft dewy look to her skin that just glows. I applied many thin transparent layers until I achieved just the right look for her, and I`m thrilled with her coloring. She has veins everywhere! Arms, legs, hands wrists, legs, head, and feet. Please see her close up shots. Saskia has beautiful realistic skin coloring and lots of detailed veining. Please check out her close up shots. She also has a wonderful doe suede body thats soft and cuddly and disc-jointed (it came with her kit). Her body is weighted with only glass beads, NO SAND, and the softest and highest quality fiber fill. Her 3/4 length legs and 3/4 length arms are very heavily weighted with glass beads. Her eye-brows are painted with delicate single stroke hairs. I painted his eyebrows with different colors for more dimension and detail. She has soft wispy delicate eye lashes. Her lips have been colored with numerous delicate layers to achieve the natural rosy color a baby would have. They were sealed with a low matt varnish finish so there would be very little shine. The nails have a sweet baby manicure and have been double sealed with a low gloss shine. His arms are 3/4 length long and so are the legs. She looks adorable in a diaper and a baby undershirt. Micro-rooted with Angora Mohair All of my babies get rooted with Angora Mohair and Saskia is no exception. I use a very fine needle when I root all of my babies. I try to achieve the NO-PLUG look. I also custom color my babies` hair, one baby at a time. So no two are ever exactly alike. For Saskia, I used a nice slightly wavy soft brown ANGORA MOHAIR. Its been glued securely on the inside so you can comb it carefully and even style it. It can be misted and combed straighter or curled. She looks adorable with a little curl on top. What Saskia brings home. Saskia has the most adorable outfit, imported from Europe. She will be wearing home her "Emile et Rose" imported outfit. The set is a pink knit jacket, pants, hat, socks and a white long sleeved onesie. The jacket buttons down the front. The pants are about 3/4 length which is perfect for those cute socks to show. The white onesie also has lace trim around the collar. And she has a matching hat. Saskia also has a very detailed custom painted tummy and chest plate. Its easy to put on and take off. It hugs the cloth body perfectly. There are small holes where you can attach a thin ribbon and tie the body plate on if you want it to stay on forever. Then simply untie the ribbons and remove the plate. My blankets, buntings, toys and props are not a part of this auction. Only the clothes described above.
