CANTERBURY BEARS is a family business situated in the sleepy Kentish Village of Littleborne.  The workshops are nestled in the middle of an apple orchard, and are with the sound of the Cathedral bells of the ancient and beautiful City of Canterbury in Kent.  Our bars range in size from 4 inches to 40 inches tall, and all are fully jointed.  As possibly the only bear specialist in the world, we take pride in the fact that all our bears are crafted with great care and are individuals.  Each has it's own character which is not surprising as every one of them is finished by hand.  Canterbury Bears are made to last a lifetime, and you will find that they make faithful. dependable, loving friends, and are  quite simply unique in the bear world.  The hand tag is also signed by Maude and John Blackburn.
