CUTE!' Description loraloraine Store WELCOME BABY MACY WEIGHT 7 pounds 10 ounces LENGTH 21 inches long I am pleased to introduce my "Thanksgiving Baby", Macy! She is all dressed to spend the holidays with her new family! I would like to thank Adrie Stoete for sculpting Maddison,and all of her other beautiful sculpts! Macy started out as a "Maddison" sculpt by talented artist Adrie Stoete. She has a soft jointed body made of doe suede, so she is fully poseable. Her 3/4 limbs allows her to wear a variety of styles. Macy's realistic weight is by tiny glass granulars and poly fil. She also has a faint baby powder scent, so she smells just like a real baby. I have painted Macy with Genenis Heat Set paints, so her realistic skin tone will not fade or rub off. I have carefully opened Macy's nose and backed it with dark colored felt to give the appearance of breathing. Her lips have been delicately shaded in several shades and moisture added to the lips. You find yourself waiting for her to move. Macy's Medium and light brown hair is from premium angora mohair that is ultra micro rooted into her little head one to two follicles at a time. I have given her two shades of brown to add to her reaism. It is very wavy, almost curly. After rooting was complete, Macy got a baby haircut that suited her well. The hair was then sealed on the inside with a water proof glue, so you can brush, comb, style, and even wash her hair. She has the most beautiful shade of blue/geen eyes. Her upper and lower eyelashes have also been hand applied to frame her eyes. I have also given Macy the lightest shade of eyebrows by using the finest of brushes, one stroke at a time and then smudging a little to give a "barely there" look. A little moisture was added to the corner of her eyes to give more realism. Tiny capillaries were added to her eyelids and shaded with color so that she appears so realistic you catch yourself waiting for her to breathe. Macy's tiny nails were tipped with off-white and then triple sealed with a satin gloss to perserve the appearance of a newborn's nails Olivia wears newborn size clothing, so she is fun to dress. I have carefully chosen her layette just for her. The colors I have chose for her are pink, brown ad ecru, and everything coordinates (even her pacifier)! Macy has a customized magnet pacifier. These are very strong magnets, so use caution around computers, electronics and pacemakers. Macy will last a lifetime with proper care and attention. She is not a toy and not for young children, but a heirloom that will be cherished from generation to generation. m I have taken Macy's photos at different times and places to get the most natural lighting. Her skin is so realistic with "stork bites" in all the natural places. I am so pleased with her outcome. If Macy has stolen your heart, be aware that she is a one of a kind and can not be duplicated. I will not be creating another "Maddison" sculpt because of all the new babies introduced this year. A little about me: I have been making dolls with my mother and grandmother all my life. My mother is a porcelain doll artist and sculpter, and my grandmother loved to make rag dolls and cloth/soft sculpted dolls. I dicovered the art of "reborning", one christmas, while searching for "realistic" vinyl dolls for my daughters. I have self-taught myself this art, and truely love doing this. I have painted wall murals and anything else I could find to paint! :) I never rush the babies I create. I work on them in my special "me" time. I always look forward to that time when I can sit down and let my creativety flow.
