He has a long muzzle as the earlier Steiff bears did with a loud working tilt growler,. He has very big feet and long arms. His felt pads are original with no holes some marks to them. 4 clws to each paw. glass eyes. Caramel mohair now age slightly age lightened mostly to his front, some wear to his fur mostly around his arms form being held, and to his back of legs from sitting down for half a century! He looks an old Steiff bear but is in very good strong old condition. Wonderful clean bear from non smoking home. (in one photo he is shown with a smaller gold steiff who is being sold in a separate listing) Photos were taken with a flash light as we did hot get enough daylight to take our photos at present!!  Postage UK £7.40 special delivery post. Import duty and customs compliance are the responsibility of the buyer.   RETURNS:Due to the nature of my items all auction sales are offered on the understanding that items are sold "as is" and that all sales are final and non-returnable. The only exception to this would be in the unlikely event that I make a serious mistake in the items listing and you receive an item that is "Significantly not as described" In that event I would be happy to resolve the problem, provided that you notify me by email within 3 days of receipt of the item with details of the problem to obtain an authorisation for return. Items returned without authorisation will not be accepted under any circumstances. Return postage will routinely be the responsibility of the buyer unless i have made a mistake in the description, items must be returned in the condition originally sent within 14 days of buyers original receipt, before any refund will be issued.   POSTAL DAMAGE: In the VERY RARE event that an item should be damaged in transit I will work with you to claim from the carrier. If you do receive a damaged item Keep all packaging as evidence of the carriers mistreatment. Any damages caused in transit must be reported to me via email within 14 days of receipt with attached photographs of damage/signs of misuse to packaging. I will file the claim for you. You retain the package and contents during the claim process. I will issue the refund upon receipt from them. Any refund issued prior to settlement of the claim by the carrier would only be by mutual agreement between buyer and seller and ONLY after the return of the parcel/contents/and original packaging as received, as evidence for damages claim. The returned item must be sent repackaged to preserve the original shipping packaging and sent via an insured service. Return costs would be buyers responsibility.   UNDELIVERED ITEMS:ALL Items are sent Insured, with proof of postage. Should an item not arrive within a reasonable timeframe dictated by the chosen service and the carriers policy, then I will file a claim with the carrier. As most "missing" parcels are not actually "lost" just delayed, they usually arrive once an investigation is started. Because of this both buyer and seller must be patient, and the postal carrier must be allowed to conclude their investigation and search for the missing parcel before any refund can be issued.   My Items are an eclectic mix of collectables. Some vintage, most rare, some antique, often unique! This means that many are pre-used, and may have wear and/or signs of use commensurate with their age. I take pride in my clear pictures and honest descriptions, including mentioning any damage or noteworthy "wear and tear".
