Antique dolls in Miniature Roombox SATURDAY NIGHT BATH click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Antique dolls in Miniature Roombox SATURDAY NIGHT BATH Fabulous miniature scene with antique dolls from a museum A fabulous miniature scene, "Saturday Night Bath" measures 9" tall, 21" wide and 12.25" front-to-back. The dolls are in excellent to mint condition; furnishings are circa 1970, with a great variety of old & newer miniature accessories. The c1970 cast iron "Queen" stove measures 8.25" tall, 6.25" wide and 4" front-to-back. Father Doll sits in circa 1930s wooden rocker stamped "Germany", and the washtub dates from the same era and area. Furniture and accessories are loose, waxed or lightly glued in place so they can be moved to wherever the new owner wishes. Dolls = Mother (incised "8/0") & Father (no visible marks) are both by Simon & Halbig, circa 1900 and all-original. All-Bisque = Sitting in Tub ("8"); Candy Baby ("Germany"); Super Rare Standing Boy (no marks); Standing in Tub ("1"); Girl with original mohair wig, swivel neck, jointed shoulders & hips, deep blue glass set eyes ("620-0", repair to right toes); tiny Doll on red Tootsietoy Rocker (by Carl Horn, 1890, original crocheted boy clothes). There is real split wood in the woodbox, carrots on the sink drainer, and many details specific to a circa 1900 farmhouse kitchen.
