Up for bid today is an antique dollhouse child's desk made in the 1930's or earlier.  It is handcrafted and painted with white enamel paint.  This piece has certainly been treasured for years - it is well made and durable, however, the enamel paint is applied unevenly in places and the drawer does not open....I don't think it ever did. The side panels are embossed or engraved in a scroll design........much like that of the Flemish Art Co. which produced boxes in the late 1800's for woodburning designs. This piece is in very good condition for its' age and could easily be restored.  The measurements are 3.5" high, 3" long, and 2.5" from back to front.
