It was appraised in 2002 at $1,800.00 for a reletive of my friend by a dealer at the Pacific Run Antiques in Tacoma, WA. I'm not sure what kind of hair they used, or if it’s been replaced, but I heard that it might be Mohair. It but it does feel soft to me though. There is an "M" on the back of the head. She has beautifully painted eye brows, outlined lips with 4 little square teeth. There is a small indentation on the chin. She stands 26" tall, has realistic eyes that close when she is layed down. The right hand has bite marks in the index and middle finger. There are 3 or 4 tears in the left sleeve of the dress between the shoulder and elbow. The left sleeve have been resewn at the shoulder. The left shoulder of the dolls arm needs some repair. There's a small hole on the little toe and a couple of stains on the right foot. The Leather body looks pretty nice for her age. There is a small stain in the lower front of the dress. There is a small stain or dirt in the lower left leg of the bloomers, which looks as if it has been replaced sometime. It doesn't look as old to me as her slip. The shoes show signs of age, but are in good shape considering the age of the doll. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’ll accept payment of PayPal, or Postal Money Order only.
