HEIRLOOM FOR THE AGES This doll that is destined to become an heirloom to be passed down through the generations was 3 months in the making. She has 40 yards of handsewn pink netting/sequin trim on as many yards of lace, hundreds of pink, yellow, blue, and lavender porcelain roses, an opera coat with a gorgeous frilled neckline, and hundreds of hand-placed Swarovski Crystals. Her hair is dark brown with white strands weaved into its design and pink crimped locks decorating the back. Her glorious dress has a long train and is accented with matching reticule, fan, gloves, shoes, and opera coat. Satin white bows give even more sophistication to this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. She is yours to name! When I write the Certificate of Authenticity, I will let you choose her name and title!...duchess? princess? Lady? I make each doll in her entirety from pouring the porcelain clay to sanding it, firing it, china painting and shading (requiring many firings) the French Rose-colored bisque, and last, but not least…the fun part…costuming the doll. This statuette has moveable and therefore, poseable arms. Each one has details too numerous to mention and looks as fabulous from the back as she does from the front. My signature is written in gold on the back of her neck, and she comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
