Description
This Bebe Jumeau is one of the earliest Tete Jumeau models that was made, and looks identical to the earlier “Incised ‘DEPOSE JUMEAU’” model. The doll has a very unique portrait face, with the early mauve blush on the upper eyelids. The doll is entirely original…original and pate, original Jumeau floral chemise, original Jumeau socks and signed Jumeau shoes. Both the head and the body are signed. The bisque is perfect, with no damage or repairs. She is GORGEOUS! You will not find another Jumeau doll with this face…it is unique. 27” Tete Jumeau, Size 12, with perfect bisque socket head, exceptional quality decoration of the bisque, finely painted deluxe long upper and lower eyelashes, dark eyeliner, mauve eye shadow on the upper eyelids, dot accents at the inside corners of the eyes, multi-stroked eyebrows, beautiful narrow-shaped bulging blue paperweight eyes (with much depth and detail), shaded and accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips (note the heart-shaped outline on the upper lip), pierced ears, lovely full original human hair wig over cork pate, and on an early signed JUMEAU jointed wood and composition body in the original finish, with original pull string crier which works perfectly! The body is in the original finish, and in excellent condition, except slight flaking on the composition hands only (as can bee seen in the photographs). She is dressed in an original Jumeau blue floral chemise with pristine lace trims. She wears layers of original underslips, pantaloons, slips. She wears her original blue knit Jumeau socks and signed Jumeau leather shoes. Her entirely original outfit is fantastic! Condition: The bisque head is perfect, with no damage or repairs.
