1950s Steiff Studio Teddy Bear 48" LARGE Start Price USD 425.00 Current Price USD 425.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, November 25, 2008 End Time Tuesday, December 02, 2008 Location Lancaster, Pennsylvania See more about '1950s Steiff Studio Teddy Bear 48" LARGE' Description Here for auction is a wonderful LARGE (48"!)  Steiff Studio Teddy Bear in excellent condition, dating to the 1950s.  This great big bear has 100% of his mohair fur, a brown floss-stitched nose, and big, lifelike amber glass eyes.  There is not a Steiff button to be found in his ear, so there is a slight chance that this may not be a Steiff, possibly a Herman or Schuco based on very high quality.  There is some slight damage apparent on the velvet paw pads of the left hand and foot and a very small tear in the stitching where the left foot & leg meet.   What an adorable bear!  And large enough that maybe he'll be doing the hugging!  He's fully jointed and posible, and measures 48" tall, 20" from the front to the back of the head, and 30" across from arm to arm, and weighs about 20lb!   Do to the size/weight of this bear, buyer must arrange shipping, possibly via Greyhound.  Seller will deliver within 100mi for $50.  High bidder must contact seller to arrange shipping!Best of luck bidding your way into the loving arms of this great big Steiff Studio Teddy Bear!
