She has a bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate. This serene and elegant doll has pale bisque with slightly blushed cheeks, multistroked brows, painted upper and lower lashes. Blue paperweight eyes. Pierced ears with blue glass earrings. Blond mohair wig with a "French twist" at back. Cork pate. Closed mouth. Her lovely 2-piece dress is ivory with lace accents on the pink edged bodice with covered buttons down the front. The front of the skirt has a hem edging flounce of wide pink ruffles with pink ties on each side. She wears a straw bonnet trimmed with gathered pink ribbon trim and flowers. Dolly has white cotton pantalettes trimmed with handmade lace and a petticoat made of layers of lace. She has cottton stockings and pink leather replacement shoes that tie with ribbons and are trimmed with pink embroidered flowers. For jewelry, she has blue glass pieced earrings and a dobe-stand necklae of blue beads from which dangles a blue crystal pendant. MARKS: Head: 2 (The marking on her head is the appropriate size number for a Gaultier 15-17 inch doll) CONDITION: She has a nice, clean sturdy kid body with internal wire armature. The kid body has some patches at joints--elbows,knees, etc. but the body is FIRM and there ae no leaks. The body ( with leather arms and hands) is in very good condition. The doll has kid fingers.
