Waltershausen (Boulle) furniture includes a wonderful large scale scalloped back sofa with serpentine front and padded arms with gray/green cut-velvet upholstery, a round table on pedestal with gold transfer work, a drop front desk with turned columns on front having gold transfer work as well as dental molding under pediment with interior having wood columned posts on top of a long narrow drawer and a recessed mirror in back with green paper, marble turtle top table on base and table having center drawer with divided interior resting four legs. Accessories include a kerosene chandelier with attached candle holders in soft metal painted gold with hanging glass beads topped with a white Bristol glass globe and chimney, a large ormolu birdcage with a wax parrot on ring, an Art Nouveau maiden in soft metal painted gold holding an oval beveled mirror and a red leather photo album trimmed in gold with gold clasp.
