BLISS & CO." logo, with the wording inside a large Co, is printed above the porch entrance. Shown in Butler Bros. 1910 catalogue, this American wooden dollhouse is #202 by Bliss. An appealing little cottage measuring 16.5" tall, 11.5" wide and 7.5" front-to-back = the house is close to 1/2 inch =1 foot in scale. All of the interior and exterior lithographed papers are original, as are the lace curtains in the lower level windows with original 'isinglass' panels. Interior papers are two different shades of tiny plaid print. Very slight fading and a small area of water stain to the back right corner. This is a charming small house with wooden awnings, and the front porch and balcony are so charming with their original pierced metal railings!! Thank you for bidding and good luck!!
