Shirley Temple made in the 1930's of Composition.  She is quite a rare size to collect, the 11" is one of the harder sizes to find.  Also this doll has Blue Tin eyes which is more desirable too. She is fully marked 11 Shirley Temple on the back of her head and back, her tin sleep eyes still retain some mohair eyelashes.  She has her original tagged Curly Top dress that still has the original pleats and is still crispy, the original onsie, still clean and crispy, the original rayon socks with only a small hole in the top of each sock, original oilcloth shoes with working snaps.  She has a few craze lines as shown on her face, on her left eye a deeper craze below, and a fine craze above the eye, she has what looks like a fine line of dried craft glue on this fine craze line, so it is shiny in the photo.  She has craze lines on each thigh, other than this, her composition is almost free of crazing.  She is totally original, her paintwork is original with no touchups.   I have labelled her 'Near Mint' for the crazing mentioned above only, this wear to the composition happens to nearly every Composition Doll made.  After 70 years or so, this wear is to be expected.    Her hair is in the original set with original ribbon and has beautiful clean soft curls.  She is very clean and has all original paintwork, no repairs.    Postage is $25.00 within Australia, $35.00 International.
