It is extremely fine and delicate, and represents about 100 hours of knitting to complete. Each of the squares is made up of four diamonds, knitted separately and sewn together. The edges and lace trim are then knitted and attached to the finished item. It's a real heirloom piece for the serious dollshouse collector. It's been my centrepiece at miniature shows around the world, and now it's time for it to go to a new home while I create a new piece for display. The brass bed is included in this sale.
