PROFESSIONAL REBORN ARTIST YOLANDA GOMEZ  I would like to express my sincerest thank you to all the parents who have adopted my babies and all the other sweet people who always support me, send me their kind comments, lovely e-mails and feedback.  Thank you for loving my babies as much as I do.  You inspire me to improve my work  everyday and to bring all of you these beautiful babies.  Welcome~ELISSA~       Born: Nov 14, 2008Weight: 6 Pounds 5 ouncesLength: 19" LongThis  baby girl started out as brand new Release "Lee Lee" doll kit (168/500) by artist Laura Tuzio Ross .  She was reborned using the highest quality non toxic materials and dedicated reborn artistry techniques.  She is an OOAK baby and will never be duplicated.  Elissa has been carefully colored with Genesis heat set paints that will never fade.  This has been done in many layers to create the softly mottled and slightly blotchier skin tones of an infant.  She was also given gentle veining and capillaries all over her head and limbs to create amazing realism.This little girl has a fully poseable pink flesh jointed soft suede body that has been weighted with micro-glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester premium fiber fill for a real baby feel.  This fiber fill is very soft and will never clump up.  She has 3/4 arms and full legs that were weighted with micro-glass beads as well and later sealed with strong silicone to avoid any leakage.I photograph my babies only in natural daylight and sometimes I must shoot during the course of various days to ensure all pictures are of high quality. You can see her real baby skin in the picture above. All baby's wrinkles and creases were individually blushed and highlighted. Elissa has an exquisite sterling silver baby Bracelet made in India with a cute heart cut out on one end of the id plate.  She will also bring home a beautiful chain with an embellished crystal Mini Mouse pendant from Disney . Elissa will go home to her new mommy with all her belongings in a small and delicate flowery valise.Elissa has a Silver Plated Birth Certificate Holder that is a wonderful keepsake to preserve her  birth certificate safely.  This silver plated birth holder includes both holder and stand.  The stand has a charming silver bear figurine and the tube is beautifully engraved with the words "Birth Certificate" as well as several decorations.                  In the photograph above, you can see the many details of Elissa's skin.  I have given her a few delicate baby millias to resemble the skin of a newborn.  An exquisite work was also done on her eyelids where you can perceive her fine veins and capillaries.   Her eyelashes were rooted very finely to match perfectly to the mohair used on her head.Elissa's nose was carefully opened and backed with dark felt to give a sense of depth and realism. Her lips were hand painted and sealed with a gloss varnish for a natural moist look. Special attention was given to hands and feet.All little toes and fingernails were manicured, nice soft off white tips were added and sealed with a protective varnish coating to resemble freshly trimmed nails (this varnish doesn't peel off)                          Her hair was ultra micro-rooted sparsely all over the head using the smallest needle and the finest quality Blond Angora Mohair by Susan's Sensational Premium Mohair (smrnagel), this mohair is very soft and fine in texture just like real baby hair.  The ultra micro-rooting is all done in the natural directions of hair growth with a swirled crown and it looks as if it is growing right out of Elissa's soft scalp.  This method takes a lot of time and the use of many needles, however, the results are fantastic and very real.I think this special feature is my trademark, of which I am very proud.  All the hair is secured on the inside with a very strong waterproof glue so the hair can be washed, combed and styled.Elissa's head was weighted with glass pellets that were well sealed in bags.
