"Peanut"   ~*~ on a 7 day listing ~*~ ends Sunday, December 7th, at 6:30 pm pacific time     I'm very excited to introduce Peanut, a sweet life sized & lifelike Chihuahua to you!    Peanut is my newest Chihuahua design. He is a life size dog with realistic details and many, many hours went into this little dog.       Peanut is a one of a kind artist chihuahua completely designed and handsewn (no machine work) by me, Melisa Nichols.  He is very detailed and because of these hand applied details, he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind.        Peanut is made from so soft faux fur which I hand painted in acrylic to give him his Chihuahua colouring. I took care while painting to make sure that his fur remained soft & touchable. He is 10 1/2" tall when standing (not including his ears). From his nose to his hind quarters he is 10 inches long.   Peanut is such a fun Chihuahua, posable, and full of personality, that you'll have a hard time putting him down!  Peanut is hoping that you will find a special place in your heart for him...  thank you for your patience in waiting for his pictures to load! I didn‘t take as many pictures this time as I barely had him finished in time to list him today. If there is anything you‘d like to see, please ask and I‘d be happy to take more pictures for you.     Peanut has a lot of detail in his face. His face has been thread and scissor sculpted, then shaded. He has premium glass eyes which I hand painted in brown. He has movable eyelids so he can be wide awake or sleepy. He also has an open/close mouth with a shaded leather tongue.     Peanut‘s nose is very realistic. His ears are wired for posing and his inner ears are ultra suede.     I used ultra suede to create Peanut‘s realistic feet. His toes have wire armature and are posable.     Peanut is completely handsewn and filled with polyfill, pellets and an extra portion of cuddles.  Peanut has a strong wire armature so he can pose in almost any way a real  chihuahua can.  He is so fun to pose!           ******************************* Peanut will arrive in a special gift box with tags (including a certificate of authenticity signed & dated by me, and a "details" tag with his picture).
